Alexander Tsikhilov

With over 12 years of experience in the global financial industry, Alexander Tsikilov founded the Admiral Markets Group in 2001. As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Admiral Markets Group, he has managed to transform a novice international investment and brokerage services provider into one of the world’s largest retail Forex brokers. The Admiral Markets Group currently has 94,000 active clients trading Forex, CFDs, Commodities, Options, and Indices with a monthly trading volume of US$50 billion in over 40 countries across the globe. In 2012, Admiral Markets AS, a company under the group, was named Best FX Broker in the Baltic Region by The New Europe FX Awards. Prior to founding the Admiral Markets Group, Alexander was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Admiral Telecom, one of the first internet service providers in Russia. Alexander Tsikilov has a BBA in Electrical Engineering from the St. Petersburg Electrical Engineering University, an MBA majoring in International Marketing from the International Management Institute of St. Petersburg in Russia, and is currently taking up his DBA from the Swiss Business School in Zürich, Switzerland. He is now actively conducting a thorough research on motivational theories in the global financial industry.
