The EU summit agreed to extend Brexit until the end of October in an apparent concession to French PM Macron – other EU heads had apparently wanted to extend it a full year. Whichever, the UK can leave as soon as they agree on the terms. I say: don’t hold your breath. I’m not sure what they can agree on in the next six months that they haven’t been able to agree on over the last two years. I fully expect that come October, we’ll be in the exact same place.
