U.K's manufacturing lower by 0.3%

U.K's manufacturing production, for the month of June, dropped more compared to the analysts' and the economists' estimations, thus raising concerns with regards to the nation's economic outlook, as per today's official data release.

U.K's manufacturing down by 0.3%

The manufacturing production fell 0.3%, worse than the predictions for a 0.2% drop, the U.K. Office for National Statistics reported.

On a yearly basis, June's manufacturing production appreciated 0.9%, lower than the 1.3% forecasted rate.

On the other hand, the British industrial production advanced 0.1% in June and was in alignment with the economists' predictions.

The industrial production, year-on-year, appreciated 1.6% in June, following May's 1.4% advancement.

The GBP/USD reached the 1.2992 zone while previously trading at 1.2979. The EUR/GBP traded to 0.8537.

Moreover, London's FTSE 100 rose 0.25%, France's CAC 40 gained 0.45%, and Germany's DAX escalated 0.36%.
