Representatives of AETOS Capital Group were invited to the keynote luncheon about the Australian federal budget 2016-2017

On May 6, 2016, a keynote luncheon about the Australian Federal Budget 2016-2017 hosted by the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime Minister of Australia, was held at the Sofitel Hotel in Sydney, Australia. A number of Australian federal ministers, federal members, state members, city councilors, the presidium of the Liberal Party of New South Wales and councilors from different cities attended the event. Mr. Leo Cui, Managing Director of AETOS Capital Group Pty. Ltd., Councilor Mike Thomas, Senior Vice President of AETOS, Mr. Danny Chan, Marketing Director of Greater China Region and Mr. Andreus Qiu, Deputy Operation Director of AETOS Capital Group were also invited to participate in the event.

Prior to the luncheon, the representatives from AETOS Capital Group were met by the Hon. Julie Bishop, Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Steven Ciobo MP, Minister for Trade and Investment, the Hon. Paul Fletcher, Minister for Major Projects, Territories and Local Governments, the Hon. Sussan Ley, Minister for Health, Minister for Aged Care and Minister for Sport, the Hon. Alex Hawke, Assistant Minister to the Treasurer and the Hon. Mike Baird MP, Premier of New South Wales.

In the luncheon, the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime Minister of Australia, made a speech on the Federal Budget 2016-2017. He pointed out that “this budget outlines our plan for a strong new economy - so we can deliver more jobs and greater opportunities for young Australians, their children and grandchildren.” The Federal Budget aims to generate new business opportunities through export trades with countries such as China and Singapore, providing tax deduction and incentives for small business and hard working families, running an innovation and science program for start-up businesses, providing more purpose-oriented investment in infrastructures to boost the public spending, and providing guaranteed funding for health and education. The Prime Minister also stated that the major purpose of the Federal Budget 2016-2017 was to support a sustainable economic growth and to create more jobs. The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP’s speech was warmly welcomed by the participants.
