Oil drops amid a stronger dollar

Oil prices, amid a stronger U.S. dollar, fell approximately 1%. At 11:12 GMT, Brent crude futures traded 45 cents or 0.94% lower at $47.63 per barrel.

Oil WTI trades 61 cents lower

The West Texas Intermediate crude futures in the U.S. traded at $46.09 a barrel, 1.31% or 61 cents lower.

Japan

Japan's tertiary index dropped from -0.1% to 0.7%. The analysts predicted the indicator to fall -0.2%.

Germany

Germany's gross domestic product rose from 0.3% to 0.7%. The economists estimated the GDP to appreciate 0.6%.

Hungary

The Hungarian gross domestic product dropped from 3.2% to 0.9% and did not meet the analysts' predictions for a fall to 2.3%.

Italy

The Italian gross domestic product climbed from 0.2% to 0.3%. The analysts estimated the nation's GDP to appreciate 0.3%.
