Japan's trade balance climbed from 0.36T to 0.47T and did not match the economists' forecasts for appreciation to 0.41T.
Japan's TB to 0.47T and Thailand's GDP to 3.2%
Thailand
Thailand's gross domestic product dropped from 3.5% to 3.2%. The analysts predicted the nation's GDP to decline to 3.4%.
Singapore
The Singaporean economy is estimated to have weakened, but at a slower pace, despite the risks of a recession and the rise in uncertainty which brought fear and confusion.
As per the latest survey that was conducted by a group of economists, the majority of experts expect that Singapore's GDP will be 2.5% lower compared to the previous quarters.
Oil prices
Today, oil escalated approximately 1%. Brent crude traded at $47.31 per barrel, rising 0.96% or 65 cents. The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) traded at $46.10 a barrel, 0.9% or 41 cents higher.
