Japan's manufacturing activity slowed for the month of July, but at a much slower rhythm compared to previous month's figure.
The nation's new export orders, though, contracted at the fastest pace for the period of 3 and half years, while the yen's appreciation created ''injuries'' to the exporters.
The IHS Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) appreciated in July to 49.0 and was higher than June's reading of 48.1.
