Gold trades higher in Asia to $1,223.30


Gold traded higher in the Asian trading session, as the investors and the traders wait for Janet Yellen's view on a rate hike, most likely taking place as of next month.

Gold trades to $1,223.30

In the New York Mercantile Exchange on the Comex Division, gold's December delivery traded to $1,223.30 a troy ounce, rising 0.23%.


Copper futures approached the $2.518 a pound, and the silver futures traded to $16.932 a troy ounce, escalating 0.07%.


Indonesia's trade balance dropped from 1.22B to 1.21B and did not meet the analysts' estimations for declination to 1.03B.


India's wholesale price index declined from 3.57% to 3.39%. The analysts predicted the WTI to appreciate to 3.75%.
