British GDP grew by 0.4%

Today, has been published important statistics on GDP growth in the UK, which, according to preliminary data, increased by 0.4% in Q1, in line with expectations, but the increase was less than 0.6% in the fourth quarter of last year. In annual terms, GDP growth was 2.0%. It should be noted that the services in the country grew by 0.6%, while construction fell by 1.0%. A key influence on the dynamics of the British pound in the near future will have speculations about a referendum on the country's membership in the EU, which will be held on June 23, and after that we expect growth of price with the potential of reaching 1.5000 and 1.5150.
