Expert's opinion from FXFinPro

USD/JPY may continue to rise tomorrow

The price of USD/JPY corrected upwards after dropped sharply against the background of the increased interest in defensive assets, as well as the saving of Japan's monetary policy settings unchanged, despite the negative impact of the strong yen on the country's economy. According to our forecast, tomorrow the market volatility will increase in connection with the publication of an important report on the labor market in the US in April, and the positive statistics may lead to an increase in USD/JPY to the target levels of 108.00 and 109.75. Our medium-term outlook for the USD/JPY remains positive.
