Expert's opinion from FXFinPro

The New Zealand dollar shows growth
The price of the New Zealand dollar today showed growth against the background of positive statistics on the increase in the number of tourists, which rose by 11.1% versus 8.9% previously. In addition, the consumer confidence index in the country in December increased to 110.7 in Q4, against 106.0 in the previous period. Despite the negative impact of low commodity prices and dairy products, New Zealand's economy is showing strong growth due to the increase of consumption and improving the situation in the construction sector. Despite this, we expect the resumption of price reduction of the New Zealand dollar with the objectives at 0.6450 and 0.6250.
