Euro zone's industrial production rises

Euro zone's industrial production, on a monthly basis, appreciated slightly compared to the economists' and the analysts' estimations while recovering in full from July's fall, as per the European Union statistics office today.

Euro zone's IP rises 1.6% in August

The region's industrial production, as per the Eurostat, escalated, year-on-year, by 1.8%, and by 1.6% in August.

The euro zone's readings were higher than the average predictions for a monthly increase of 1.5%. The year-on-year rise was 1.1%.

Furthermore, the durable consumer goods recorded an increase of 4.3%, including fridges and cars. Capital goods, including machinery, climbed 3.5%.

Moreover, the immediate goods were 1.4% upper, and the energy production was 3.3% higher.
