The region's rate of unemployment stabilized at 10.1% and did not meet the analysts' and the economists' predictions for a drop to 10.0%.

Japan

Japan's housing starts dropped from 8.9% to 2.5% and did not match the analysts' estimations for declination to 7.1%.

United Kingdom

The nation's business investment climbed from -1.1% to 1.0% amid the economists having predicted stabilization at 0.5%.

U.K's Gfk consumer confidence appreciated from -7 to -1. The economists predicted the Gfk indicator to rise to -5.
