ECB's, Jozef Makuch, Governing Council member stated that in the scenario where Britain departs from the European Union, greater pressures could be exerted on the nation, such as instability both political and financial.
ECB warns on instability after referendum ends
Makuch highlighted further that, Thursday's referendum could bring instability, and the European Central Bank will likely act to minimize the expected high market volatility.
Furthermore, all the financial markets across the euro region and the globe are monitoring closely the upcoming referendum that will take place on the 23rd of June 2016.
Makuch said that a probable Brexit could create a local political instability, and uncertainty, that would be difficult to comprehend after.
