The dollar recovery we saw on Friday rolled over into the beginning of this week. USD-traders now shift their focus to the US Treasury auctions, as well as the Fed minutes on Wednesday. In Australia, the RBA minutes reflected more or less the meeting statement, with the Aussie staying largely untouched.
USD Continues to Recover Ahead of Wednesday’s Fed Minutes
The dollar continued trading north on Monday, outperforming all but one of the other G10 currencies. The main losers were SEK, CHF, and NZD in that order, while the greenback traded virtually unchanged against AUD.
