China will be launching a private equity fund, worth 350 billion yuan, in an attempt to support the state-owned firms for restructuring purposes, a news agency reported today.

China on restructuring while New Zealand's TB weakens

New Zealand's trade balance decelerated from -433M to -1,265M and did not match the economists' and the analysts' estimations for a drop to -766M.

Singapore

Singapore's industrial production escalated from -3.5% to 0.1% and failed to meet the analysts' predictions for appreciation to 0.6%.

Malaysia

Malaysia's rate of unemployment climbed from 3.4% to 3.5% and did not meet the economists' and the analysts' predictions for stabilization at 3.4%.
