China's objectives on metro systems

China's plans and investment objectives in metro systems are estimated to reach the 1 trillion yuan by the year of 2020, amid the government accelerating the approvals for such projects, as per the latest data release.

China approving 100 billion yuan

Beijing has approved, since the month of September, approximately 100 billion yuan in transit schemes for Xiamen, Urumqi, and Baotou cities, thus speeding up construction and development.

Around 40 cities are constructing metro systems, while 60 make plans, the China Association of Metros reported.

Moreover, there are fears and concerns that such projects generate low income for the nation.
