Britain's businesses regained confidence, amid the Brexit outcome back in June, but are still pessimistic about the economic outlook, as per the latest survey today.
Britain's optimism 2% higher
Business optimism climbed to 48% in August and was 2% higher compared to July's reading of 46%. Such rise is an indication that, despite the small appreciation in optimism, the British nation is gaining positive momentum.
On the other hand, the pessimism is still high, with many businesses being conservative on their predictions, perceiving that the economy will be on the downside for next 12 months or so.
Moreover, apart from the fact that the rate of pessimistic businesses fell from 49% in July to 45% in August, the fear of unexpected financial barriers resumes existing.
