Britain ''injured'' in a Brexit scenario

Britain could be ''harmed'' should it be the scenario of a Brexit where the nation exits the European Union, nine out of ten economists in the financial district of London said.

Observer: Economists' poll warns on Britain's exit

The Observer newspaper poll was the largest one with 600 economists having participated, thus, boosting David Cameron's, Prime Minister, campaign that the nation should remain in the EU.

Britain's growth may be damaged for at least a time span of five years, 88% of the economists stated. The household income could also be heavily influenced, 82% highlighted.

The Observer stated that the economists who have participated in the poll were members of the most respected bodies, such as the Society of Business Economists and the Royal Economic Society.
