Observer: Economists' poll warns on Britain's exit
The Observer newspaper poll was the largest one with 600 economists having participated, thus, boosting David Cameron's, Prime Minister, campaign that the nation should remain in the EU.
Britain's growth may be damaged for at least a time span of five years, 88% of the economists stated. The household income could also be heavily influenced, 82% highlighted.
The Observer stated that the economists who have participated in the poll were members of the most respected bodies, such as the Society of Business Economists and the Royal Economic Society.
Moreover, Cameron emphasized that this poll confirmed that should the nation leave the EU, the economy could face a huge cost on the jobs as well as on its prices causing inflation.
