George Giannoulakis

George graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1993 and completed an LLB in 1994 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 31 October 1995. George is the holder of Investment Firms Certificate of Execution of Orders on behalf of Clients issued by the Ministry of Finance in Cyprus and is also a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Besides advising a number of leading Cyprus Investment Firms, he has in-depth and extensive experience in advising financial institutions and companies, from entrepreneurial start-ups to leading international companies (private and publicly listed clients), in a diverse range of commercial and investment sectors. He has comprehensive exposure to various local regulatory requirements, a diverse range of financial instruments and varying financial and legal structures. George has been involved in a number of high profile transactions, including an IPO and mobile licence public tender, and participated in opening new legal sectors in Cyprus such as Islamic Financing and securitizations. George has been with Alpari Financial Services Ltd since August 2011.
