The US currency continued to shine on Monday as the US 10-year Treasury yields kept climbing higher, almost touching the psychological barrier of 3%. In Australia, inflation data confirmed that the RBA is unlikely to proceed with any policy changes in the coming months.
USD Continues to Surge as US 10-Year Treasury Yields Almost Touch 3%
The dollar outperformed all the other major currencies on Monday. The main losers against the greenback were NZD, AUD and JPY in that order.
The US currency continued to shine on Monday as the US 10-year Treasury yields kept climbing higher, almost touching the psychological barrier of 3%. More specifically, yesterday’s high was 2.998%, the highest in over four years.
