Silver futures traded to $17.74 a troy ounce slipping 0.2% or 3.1 cents, palladium to $772.00 an ounce falling 0.2%, and platinum to $976.50 weakening 0.2%. Copper futures approached $2.644 a pound losing 0.8 cents or 0.3%.
