Recently, the KCM Trade joined hands with the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage to launch the “Light Beyond Sight” charity initiative, taking practical action to support people with visual impairments and contribute to the local community. The initiative not only reflects KCM Trade’s continued attention to community welfare, but also further demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to actively fulfilling its social responsibilities and giving back to the local community.
Partnering with a Royal Patronage Organisation to Fulfil Corporate Social Responsibility
The Thai Royal Family has long supported charitable causes and the well-being of vulnerable groups, with royal patronage providing important support for organisations carrying out long-term community services. As an organisation under royal patronage, the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand has long been dedicated to supporting people with visual impairments and promoting their well-being and inclusion in society. Through education, vocational training, and skills development, the Foundation works to provide people with visual impairments with greater opportunities to participate in society and achieve greater independence.
Supporting the Foundation and Sharing Care and Compassion
During the activity, KCM Trade provided practical support to the Foundation and hosted lunch for participants, sharing a warm and meaningful day together. Through face-to-face conversations and interactions, the KCM Trade Thailand team gained a deeper understanding of the Foundation’s long-standing efforts to support people with visual impairments. The initiative therefore went beyond material support, serving as an important bridge connecting the company with the local community.
