Recognising the unique needs of the 29 elderly residents and their dedicated caregivers, EBC’s team of volunteers took a direct approach. They repaired critical bathroom facilities, significantly improving comfort and accessibility for the residents. Essential grocery packages, tailored to the residents’ nutritional needs, were also provided, easing the burden on the home’s management and ensuring consistent support in the months ahead.
Fostering Joy and Connection
Beyond material assistance, EBC’s initiative focused on emotional well-being. Employees led a recreational colouring session, giving residents a chance for creative expression and relaxation. The day culminated in a shared iftar meal, symbolising unity, compassion, and the spirit of Ramadan. These moments of togetherness brought smiles and a renewed sense of belonging to the elderly residents.

Mr. Soleh, a caregiver at Berdikari Elderly Cottage, shared, “The assistance we received from EBC Financial Group has made a huge difference in our daily operations.
