The Olymp Trade team sums up summer updates of the trading platform. Not only the visual part was subject to significant changes in July and August, but also the trading conditions. All innovations can be split into groups.
Interface
In the beta version of the platform, the information about trades and orders was moved to the right side menu. The usual information content and an option of closing a trade quickly have been retained. Now this panel can be hidden.
We have moved the Help menu, which traders use to quickly contact the support service, get signals in the option mode or watch training videos. Now the menu is located to the left of the chart. It can also be hidden.
Traders can now access the settings menu above the online user counter. There one can change the main parameters of the chart, add and remove the indicators menu, call the strike price in the option mode or activate the One Click Trading function.
Changes in the Forex trading conditions
The Olymp Trade team has several news to share with those who work in the foreign exchange market:
- First of all, no one has to pay double commission for the keeping a position open overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. We remind you that this Olymp Trade fee is an equivalent of swap, but its amount is is fixed and easy to calculate. Just look into the asset specification section.
- Secondly, maximum position volume with a multiplier has been increased to $2 million. And the total amount of trade volume has been increased to $4 million.
- Thirdly, it is now possible to use a x100 multiplier when trading precious metals, while it had been previously limited to x50.
Another change also affected Forex traders: the commission amount in the trade menu is now displayed not as percentage but as monetary value.
Training and analytics on the platform
Another important innovation is the introduction of the Education & Analytics section in the Help panel. It is designed to make it easier for traders to study and analyze the market.
There are three areas of services:
Trends–an algorithm monitoring the asset trends online.
Analytics–brief reviews of what is happening in the world of finance.
Training–basic courses on trading in question and answer format.
The World Race Tournament
A major event for traders from all over the world has been held on the platform this summer. In 2019, the broker became a sponsor of the LCR Honda MotoGP™ team. To honor this event, Olymp Trade organized the World Trading Race Tournament with a visit to the MotoGP™ Grand Prix in Thailand as the main prize. Winners also got an iPhone XR and Apple Watch 4 Series.
At the competition, traders were performing various tasks to get points, bonus funds and risk-free trades. However, the decisive factor was the number of points they gained as this was what a participant's position in the Tournament ranking depended on.
The tournament organizers received a lot of positive feedback, and intend to continue with the practice of holding such competitions.
