Shai Heffetz

Shai Heffetz has spent his entire career in e-commerce. He is CEO of Intertrader Ltd, the online CFD trading and spread betting subsidiary of GVC, a FTSE 250 company (formerly bwin.party digital entertainment). Prior to Intertrader, he was Head of Business Development for Empire Online, the online gaming company that was acquired by PartyGaming in 2007. He spent a year as Head of Customer Relationship Management for PartyGaming before being tasked with driving the group’s expansion into financial services which resulted in the formation of the multi-award-winning Intertrader. His early career saw him work for Spark Networks (Israel) Ltd, a subsidiary of Spark Networks Inc, a leading provider in the online dating sector, where he performed several roles as brand and media department manager. Shai holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel.
