Major currencies trading is mixed today.
EUR/USD is banded within 1.1873-1.1921. Attention will be turned towards EU Markit services PMI at 08.00 GMT and the Eurozone’s Retail Sales at 09.00 GMT. EUR traders will be on lookout for statements after the ECB meeting on Thursday.
GBP/USD lost 0.26% dropping to 1.2928.
USD/JPY is still on a downwards vector. On Monday the currency pair lost 0.23% and is currently at 109.28.
AUD/USD climbed to 0.7968 after gaining 0.25%. The RBA decision to hold interest rates at 1.5% was forecast and thus had little impact on the dynamics of the currency pair.
Gold was banded between 1332.11-1339.87. Silver saw slight gains reaching 17.88.
Oils are trading mixed also. Brent slipped 0.40% trading at 52.09. WTI currently at 47.67.
American stock is trading in the green. The Dow went up by 0.20% reaching 21931.0. S&P is at 2469,9 after gaining 0.37%. NQ also saw and increase in the magnitude of 0.39% trading at 5974.8.
The FTSE climbed to 7416.8 after gaining 0.23%. The CAC went up by 0.62% and trading at 5116.2. The DAX also saw an increase trading at 12139.9 after a 0.67% increase.
