The FTSE100 index touched our resistance level for a second yesterday at 6600 but failed to breach it as talks between the UK and EU continue to yield little progress and time is running out leaving traders in the dark. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen look set to meet in person this week in a bid to break the stalemate in Brexit talks. However, as the index is now trading below the near-term moving average, it is highly likely to see more selling today from a technical perspective, with the 6450 level as our next support and target.
Support: 6450 / 6400
Resistance: 6600
