Natural gas futures Mar’19 dropped sharply. An hourly candle at 13:00 GMT had a high at $2.901 and a low at $2.802, which reduced the value of the asset by 2.49%. At the time of writing, the price returned to $ 2.832.
However, this is already the second drop in a row, because Monday trading opened with a huge gap: - 6.42%. The price lost almost 200 points during interbank trading over the weekend. The overwhelming majority of players probably got into the bullish trap after a similar opening this week. However, today those who did not follow the rules of risk management have suffered heavy losses.
Was it a classic market trap or some unknown factors? This will become clear soon. In the meantime, we only know that today we have ended up in the green with all commodities, apart from natural gas.
