This week encloses significant economic news among of them RBA interest rate decision, FOMC minutes and U.S. NFP report. In addition, ECB monetary policy meeting accounts and U.S. ISM Non-manufacturing are coming out.
On Monday, the Markit manufacturing PMIs for Euro area, U.K. and Germany for June will be released. German manufacturing PMI is forecasted to meet the preliminary figure of 59.3 as well as the Eurozone’s, at 57.3. Eurozone’s unemployment rate for May is expected to show a small decline to 9.2% from 9.3% before. At 12:00 GMT, BoE Governor Mark Carney will give a speech.
On the second half of the trading day, Markit manufacturing PMI is coming out and is expected to meet flash reading of 52.1 while ISM manufacturing PMI is predicted to rise slightly to 55.0 from 54.9 the preliminary figure. The construction spending for May is forecasted to rise by 0.3% versus a decline of 1.4% the previous month. Overnight, Reserve Bank of Australia will publish its interest rate decision. The central bank is widely expected to keep the cash rate unchanged at 1.5%.
