U.S. dollar gains in Asia's trading session

The U.S. dollar was stronger during the Asian trading session today, while China's manufacturing data was better than expected, with the overall sentiment looking positive.

Australian and U.S. dollar at 0.7907

The USD/JPY pair traded 0.14% higher at 110.39 and the AUD/USD at 0.7907 appreciating 0.05%. The U.S. dollar index climbed 0.01% to 92.85.

Japan's provisional industrial production dropped more than the predictions for a rate of 0.5% by 0.8%.

August's official manufacturing PMI in China went to 51.7 as per today's official data release.

Australia's new capital expenditure for Q2 was higher than the estimates for a 0.3% gain jumping 0.8%.
