The euro rose to $1.2000, 2-1/2 year highs, on Monday extending its gains since last week after the ECB held the currency at bullish levels.

Euro and dollar at 1.1931

The EUR/USD was at its highest zone since January 2015 at 1.1931 by 03:48 AM ET.

The USD/JPY traded to 109.15 declining 0.3%, and the GBP/USD aimed at 1.2895 its 13-days peak.

The USD/CHF reached the 0.9545 level and the EUR/GBP went to 0.9256. The U.S. dollar index was at 92.41 while being at 92.30 earlier.
