Aussie rises on latest survey data

The Australian dollar appreciated today, following the latest business survey outcome that was lower than the estimates. The AUD/USD pair traded 0.24% higher at 0.7559.

Aussie and greenback at 0.7559

The AUD/USD pair traded 0.24% higher at 0.7559, the GBP/USD dropped 0.06% to 1.2652, and the USD/JPY climbed 0.07% to 110.03. The U.S. dollar index reached the 97.21 zone rising 0.06%.

Oil higher in the EU session

Oil traded higher in the EU trading session as the main concern on the producers' efforts in cutting output and the reduction on worldwide glut resumes.

The U.S. WTI crude for July reached $46.24 a barrel rising 0.3% or 15 cents, and Brent for August approached $48.45 a barrel escalating 16 cents.

The gasoline futures traded to $1.488 a gallon inching up 0.3% or 0.3 cents, heating oil approached $1.428 a gallon adding 0.2 cents, and natural gas aimed to $3.015 per million British thermal units dipping 0.9 cents.
