Aussie and NZD stronger to the greenback
The Aussie and the New Zealand dollar traded higher versus their main counterpart, the U.S. dollar, amid the political concerns in the U.S. placing pressures on the greenback. The AUD/USD pair traded to 0.7435 rising 0.13%.
Aussie weaker amid Trump's recent meeting
After Donald Trump's meeting with the Russian foreign minister last week, the U.S. dollar traded weaker following also James Comey's, FBI Director, dismissal having had a major impact on the currency.
The NZD/USD pair approached its highest level since May 11 at 0.6923 appreciating 0.15%, and the U.S. dollar index reached 97.80 falling 0.31%.
