33% of UFXMarkets Traders Are Trading on Mobile Devices

UFXMarkets’ award-winning trading platform ParagonEx was released on Android in 2013, with the UFXMarkets iPhone app already available. The regulated online broker continues to see an influx of Traders welcoming the opportunity to trade on-the-go.

“Traders are naturally drawn to speed and convenience,” says Dennis de Jong, Executive Director at UFXMarkets. “Our comprehensive Android and iOS apps give Traders the ability to step away from their desks without stepping away from the market.”

UFXMarkets saw a 50% rise in mobile trading in the first quarter of 2014, with 33% of new Traders now logging on to the trading platform from an iOS or Android device. Traders use a single login for both mobile and desktop access and enjoy a wide selection of 88 tradable assets on all platforms, including popular commodities, currencies and stocks.

As for what people are trading, UFXMarkets also notes that both commodity and currency trading are popular, with mobile Traders showing a slight preference to trading commodities and desktop Traders focusing more on currencies. The online broker expects a continued shift towards mobile trading through 2014 and beyond.
